Band of The King’s Division Chooses Ray Farr Flugel

Andy Urquhart (Band of The King's Division)plays solo on Ray Farr Signature Flugel after only one hour of playing the instrument! Despite having only picked up the Ray Farr Signature Raw Brass Flugel from the Raw Brass Stand at Butlin's Mineworkers Championship 2015 in Skegness for the first time during the afternoon, Andy Urquhart played Children of Sanchez on it at that evening's concert by the Band of The King's Division.

Andy visited the Raw Brass Stand at the championships on a couple of occasions during the event before asking if he could borrow the Flugel to practice for an hour before performing on it. Chris Waters, Chief Designer of the Raw Brass Flugel, says he was very impressed that anyone, even a player of Andy's extremely high calibre, would want to perform a solo after such a short practice period.
