Previews & Predictions

Wychavon Festival of Brass returns this weekend 5 packed sections looking to do battle for some terrific prize money. The Championship section bands having the added incentive of a Spring Festival place up for grabs, although quite what winning an entertainment contest says about your abilities to contend in one of the toughest set test piece contests of them all, is open to debate.

Bands will venture from around England and Wales to fight it out for their respective titles. There will be usual debate regarding the balance of quality playing verses the attempts at entertainment, as well as the obligatory use of a hats and props to make things seem right in the world! It will be left to the experienced panel to weigh up the balance and make the decision.
