Kippax Take Advantage Of January Transfer Window

Kippax Band have been busy in the January transfer window, in which they have completed their lineup for their assault on the up and coming Yorkshire Regional Championships contest in March.

Returning to the band after a short time away are Ed and Eva Hallas, who adds to the ranks on 2nd and 3rd cornet. Joining the trombone section are Richard Powne and Tony Spencer on 2nd Trombone and Bass trombone respectively. The band are also happy to announce the arrival of Bb Bass player, Natalie Bamforth.

Commenting on the new players, MD Ian Knapton told A4B: “It’s great that the band has been so proactive in getting a full team back together. I know we had a hard few months last year when players were hard to find and bring to the band, but after a great Christmas period, the band is working hard and it’s all coming together.”
