Black Dyke Host Open Rehearsal Featuring Regionals Test Pieces

Black Dyke Band will once again present an open rehearsal at Morley Town Hall ahead of the Yorkshire Regional Championships where there will be a showcase of the Regional Test Pieces on offer, including their own set work, ‘Pageantry’ by Herbert Howells.

The open rehearsal will commence at 7.45pm on Friday 3rd March and will feature performances of:-

‘Rhapsody in Brass’ (Dean Goffin) – Horbury Victoria Band (Duncan Beckley)
‘Land of the Long White Cloud’ (Philip Sparke) – Drighlington Band (Duncan Beckley)
‘Pageantry’ (Herbert Howells) – Black Dyke Band (Professor Nicholas Childs)

Admission to the event is free and the doors open at 7.15pm (please note the earlier start time of 7.45pm). The venue address is, Morley Town Hall, Queen St, Morley, Leeds LS27 9DY
