Webb Takes the Middleton Baton

Middleton Band are delighted to announce the appointment of Les Webb as their Musical Director.

A spokesperson for the band told A4B: ‘Les was selected by the band from a strong field of experienced and talented applicants and will be making his debut at the band’s upcoming concerts at the end of May.

Les brings a wealth of playing and conducting experience with him to the band. His playing highlights include playing for Yorkshire Imps and the Fairey band and his conducting highlights include success with Eccles Borough, The Marple band and Glossop band.

Middleton are really pleased to welcome Les to the band and are looking forward to a successful partnership. With just a couple of cornet vacancies to complete the otherwise full team, Middleton are now looking forward to Whit Friday and beyond.’
