Woodfalls in the Abbey for Charity

The award winning Woodfalls Band will be teaming up with fantastic Mountbatten Community Choir to deliver a concert in the glorious setting of Romsey Abbey in aid of the local cancer charity Jane Scarth House on Friday 16th June.

The traditional brass band based near Salisbury has just been crowned the champion of the West of England after winning the prestigious Regional Finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain. And they will be joined for the evening in Romsey by the Mountbatten Community Choir, a 180-strong choir led by the talented choral conductor Michael Whiteside.

Woodfalls chairman, Paul Street told A4B: ‘The concert is set to be a great evening with band and choir coming together to raise money for such a worthy cause. We will be performing a varied programme of music, well known classical arrangements, beautiful solos and exciting original music and the finale, featuring both band and choir will be stunning.”

Tickets cost £15 for adults (including a glass of wine) and £10 for children and can be bought in advance from Romsey Tourist Information, the Jane Scarth House and Shop or online via Skiddle.
