Hammonds’ Horn Star Has The Wright Stuff

Hammonds band Solo Horn, Zoe Wright is making a name for herself, having been awarded the Solo Horn seat for the European Youth Brass Band at their current course in Utrecht, Holland.

Zoe was previously also selected to be Solo Horn for the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain earlier this year.

Hammonds Musical Director Morgan Griffiths told A4B: “Everyone at Hammonds is very proud of Zoe being selected for these two most prestigious seats. It comes as no surprise to us, as she is making a huge contribution to the band and has put in fantastic performances already this year. We wish her a successful stay with the European Youth Brass Band and look forward to
having her back for our performance of Triumph of Time at the Grand Shield, in Blackpool.”
