Cornwall Youth Open Day Announced

Cornwall Youth Brass Band are inviting applications from young brass and percussion players to audition for the coming season at their Open Day on Friday 28th, December between 1.30pm and 4.30pm at Truro High School for Girls, Falmouth Road, Truro TR1 2HU.

For this year’s Christmas course they are pleased to welcome international conductor, soloist and tutor, Russell Gray, who led the famous Foden’s Band to success at the 2018 National Championships of Great Britain.

The Cornwall Youth Brass Band (CYBB) was founded in 1955 and held its first residential course four years later. Over 60 years later it is still providing young brass musicians with a great opportunity to join its courses and to play under some of the top names in the Brass Band World.
