Heartfield to Lead Hitchin at Regionals

Hitchin Band are pleased to announce that Martin Heartfield has kindly agreed to take the band to the London and Southern Counties Area Contest in March.

A spokesperson for the band told A4B: ‘Martin is being ably assisted in preparing the band by Martin Hurrell, Paul Mayes and Phil Judge. Martin is Musical Director of the Skelmanthorpe Band, who he will be taking to the Yorkshire Area Contest. Hitchin Band has risen from the 3rd section over the past 6 years and now look forward to our first venture in to the top section for more than 30 years.’
