Executive Changed at the AoBBA

The Association of Brass Band Adjudicators recently held their AGM and announce several changes to their Executive team.

Nicholas Garman takes over the secretarial role whilst David Hirst moves to Public Relations and Media. Sarah Groarke-Booth and John Roberts both retired from their respective positions with the re-election of Stan Lippeatt and Alan Morrison.

The AoBBA Executive are delighted that Sheona White has been elected to the committee and look forward to her valuable input to the association. Sheona told A4B: “I’m looking forward to working with the team and contributing to the development of the association”.

Mark Wilkinson (Chair) added: “Sheona is one of a growing number of female adjudicators and AoBBA would like to encourage more female members to the association”.

A vote of thanks and a presentation was given to Colin Hardy on his retirement by David Read MBE (Hon President). The association would like to thank Colin publicly for his long and loyal service to AoBBA both as a member and as an officer.
