Geneva Group Continue to Fund NEMBBA

As part of the Geneva Groups ongoing strategy to support and encourage leading youth bands, Geneva are proud to part sponsor the NEMBBA Youth Brass Band.

The band has only been running for the past two years and was formed and is administered by Martin Heartfield. Conductors of the band have included Michael Fowles and Brett Baker whilst tutors last season included Simon Gresswell, Adie Smith, Gary Wyatt, Michael Dodd and Brett Baker. With an exciting format and list of repertoire than band hopes to reach out into the regions schools to encourage a greater participation locally within this talented and exciting new band.

Education Consultant Brett Baker told A4B: “Geneva Group is passionate about supporting the future of the banding movement and so is delighted to help this forward thinking organisation”

Martin Heartfield added “We are delighted that the Geneva Group is supporting the young players in the Midlands area. The Youth Band is now in its 4th year and can now continue to create exciting opportunities to further the development of the many talented young players.”
