Pennine Are Here To Help You During Period Of No Social Banding

With no date yet as to when we can expect Brass Bands to get back together again, Pennine Music have decided to start offering free PDF downloads of their music & creating backing tracks for you to download & play along to at home.

PDF Free Solo Parts

To begin with, Pennine are offering for download, the solo cornet, solo horn and euphonium parts available for six of their most popular titles from last year. More titles are downloads will be added over the next few days and weeks so be sure to visit them regularly to take advantage of all their free offerings.

New Backing Tracks

Pennine Music have also recently invested in new software to aid them in creating backing tracks for you to play along to at home. Whilst these will never replace the sound of a live brass band, it should give you something to help play along to whilst practicing! Their solo titles’ backing tracks have also had the solo line removed too so you can be the star!

Pennine Music owner, Gavin Somerset, told A4B: ‘We hope our customers will enjoy these free downloads and it’s our way of saying thank you to all of those who have continued to support us during this difficult time. We want to help keep people playing and this new initiative should help all players keep their lip in.’

· It Was A Very Good Year (for multiple soloists)
