New Duo Signed at Crofton Silver

Crofton Silver Band are delighted to announce two new signings. Graham Drury joins on Soprano Cornet from Thorseby Colliery Band after a 14 year tenure and Martin Gill joins from Skelmanthorpe Prospect on Solo Eb Bass.

Crofton’s MD Dean Jones said “These signings represent a real step forward into our first year in the Championship section. Both players bring with them a wealth of top level banding experience; Martin having played at Brighouse for 14 years and Graham at Thoresby. Both players strengthen the band as we enter most important year in the band’s 145 yearhistory.”

The band would also like to thank their Principal Cornet player Andrew Clutton who after decades with the band has decided to take a break from playing as he is expecting a second child.
