New Duo Arrive At Enderby

Leicestershire-based Enderby Band are delighted to announce two new signings to bolster their solo cornet bench. Skye Wilson joins the band on 3rd Solo Cornet and Josie Allen joins as the band’s new Principal Cornet.

Skye is currently studying at Loughborough University and is a former member of Wardle Anderson Brass. Josie joins having previously played at Bilton Silver Band, although she is well known to the Enderby Organisation as she is currently also the Enderby Youth Band’s principal cornet.

Enderby Musical Director told A4B, “I am delighted to welcome Josie and Skye to Enderby. Skye came recommended to me from an old friend, Sean Conway. Josie is a very talented young lady. I am sure she will continue her remarkable progress over the next few years as leader of Enderby Band.”

Josie and Skye will both make their contesting debuts for Enderby playing Malcolm Arnold’s Fantasy for Band at the Butlins Mineworkers Brass Band Festival in January.
